As the IZRAA Facebook group kept growing, we realized multiple issues in the agriculture sector amongst small and medium farmers, one of which is there are shortcoming in the value chain, as well as that most of the farmers had poor marketing capabilities. One of the ways the facebook group is being utilized by its members is by leveraging it to sell and buy. This however has several issues that mainly may be summarized to poor user experience for both buyer and seller.

To make the buy and sell transactions more practical and easy to search, we have been developing the IZRAA marketplace app, which we also aim to offer a better service, especially in logistics, and to ensure proper quality control. We are currently in the beta testing phase in which the IZRAA team began outreach for producers from the facebook community, 130 producers successfully joined the platform so far.

A selected group of users will proceed to place orders from various producers located in multiple areas to assess product quality, packaging and delivery. A survey will be conducted with the users to get their feedback on user interface, product quality and delivery as well as any recommendations.
