IZRAA started in January 2020 as an initiative to support farmers in Lebanon sustain themselves especially following the financial crisis.Our first step was to establish the easiest way for farmers and specialists to connect via a Facebook group. The IZRAA Facebook group currently has over 160,000 members strong and growing . It is the largest online agri-group on Facebook in the Middle East. As of 2021, IZRAA became a subcommittee of Elysium, an NGO founded in 2018, which aims at developing a sustainable way of living (building, farming , education and industry) using proven methods through a rational scientific approach. We are a group of engineers specialized in the agricultural field who want to help people become more food independent but also to promote all types of agriculture to boost the sector. We are committed to apply and disseminate the best agricultural practices to produce healthy crops applying the most effective and eco-friendly methods.
